ERIC J. FORD, PRESIDENT

Personal Achievements

Graduating from MIT with a double Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, Eric is qualified to handle any challenge. He has worked for Wood Group Mustang (WGM) in Houston, TX, from 2011-Present as Project Manager, Business Manager, Engineering Manager, and New Idea and Best Practices Implementation Manager. Handling many different situations, Eric knows how to motivate people and lead them in the right direction. In his time at Wood Group Mustang he has been Leading and Managing Engineering and Design projects ranging from tens of thousands of dollars to $90 million with Total Installed Cost (TIC) estimates up to five billion dollars. Eric also served in the military for 24 years, starting as Cadet and ending his career as a Commander. Eric was the Commanding Officer of the Galveston Base and has tremendous experience in handling crises from Hurricanes, Katrina, Rita, and Ike; to handling service wide issues affecting the entire U.S. Coast Guard and Navy fleets; to managing $350 million acquisition projects for the Coast Guard's largest and most technically advanced Icebreaker. Eric takes pride in his work ethic and dedication. He will make sure you have his full attention, and wants to see your business succeed.
